Plan the details

From your first enquiry to the final delivery

Four practical steps. One clearly agreed transport plan.

01

Share the route

Send the collection and delivery addresses, preferred date and an inventory.

02

Confirm the handling

Review packing, stairs, lifts, assembly and any extra crew or equipment.

03

Agree the quotation

Confirm the service scope, timing, price and any applicable border requirements.

04

Arrange the delivery

Plan access and handover with the people receiving the furniture.

From a single sofa to a full household

Furniture removals to the Netherlands should reflect what you are actually moving. A sofa and a dining table need a different loading plan from a full home with beds, wardrobes, appliances and dozens of boxes. Share an itemised inventory, approximate dimensions and the collection and delivery cities. We can then assess the appropriate service instead of asking you to guess the vehicle size.

Careful handling at both addresses

The journey does not start at the motorway and it does not end at the kerb. Tell us about floors, lifts, stairs, parking distance and any awkward turns. A heavy wardrobe, glass tabletop or large corner sofa may need a particular approach. Inside delivery, an extra handler, disassembly and reassembly are available only within the agreed scope. Checking access early helps avoid a vehicle or crew arriving without the information they need.

Deliveries across the Netherlands

Plan furniture delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen and other Dutch destinations. An old city-centre home, apartment building and commercial loading bay present different access questions. Share the postcode and building requirements, including booked lifts or receiving hours. We confirm the workable delivery arrangement for the address, rather than promise unrestricted vehicle access everywhere.

A quotation based on your actual move

Price depends on the route, load, handling, timing and agreed extras. Explain whether dates are flexible and whether you need packing materials, storage or furniture installation. Customs coordination and border-related charges are not automatically part of the transport rate. The written quotation should make the scope clear. You do not book a service simply by submitting an enquiry.

European removals backed by 1WayEurope

This specialist website is owned by 1WAYEUROPE OÜ, the company behind 1WayEurope and VANonsite. Alongside furniture and household removals, the service range includes office and student moves, luggage transport, European road freight, FTL, express and specialist logistics. Business cargo is reviewed against its own requirements, so ADR, refrigerated, AOG and event enquiries are not treated as ordinary household removals.

Choose by intent, not by a broad label

Select the service or route that best describes the real task in the Netherlands. Freight, urgent transport, specialist handling and removals need different information and should not compete for the same search intent.

Prepare one complete enquiry

Have postcodes, dates, contacts, dimensions, weight or inventory, access and requested extras ready. Keeping all relevant facts in one brief supports a clearer quotation and a more useful handover plan.

Can you move just one piece of furniture?

Yes, you can request transport for a single item as well as a larger load. Send its dimensions, approximate weight, both addresses and access details so the appropriate service can be assessed.

How much do furniture removals to the Netherlands cost?

There is no reliable single price without the route and inventory. Volume, weight, handling, dates and agreed extras affect the quote. Send your details for an individual assessment rather than relying on an unverified starting rate.

Can you collect in the UK, France, Germany or Denmark?

These countries form part of the European service coverage. The actual collection date, location and required handling are reviewed before a booking is confirmed. Other European routes can also be requested.

Are packing and assembly included?

Only when they are expressly included in the quotation. Tell us whether you need packing materials, dismantling, reassembly, two-person carry-in or room placement so these tasks can be planned.

Can you deliver upstairs in Amsterdam or another Dutch city?

Send the floor, lift dimensions, stair layout, item sizes and parking distance. The team assesses the access and the crew or equipment needed. An upstairs delivery is not assumed from the postcode alone.

Is customs clearance included in the price?

Not automatically. Any customs coordination and border-related charges must be specified separately or expressly included in the quotation. Requirements depend on the route, ownership and customs status of the goods.

Which details help a moving company quote?

A useful request includes the collection and delivery postcodes, a list of furniture and boxes, preferred dates and access at both properties. Add measurements for wardrobes, sofas, beds and other large pieces. Photographs help where an item is fragile, unusually shaped or difficult to describe. If you need packing, dismantling, assembly, storage or delivery to a particular room, include it before the scope is prepared.

Choose the right route and service

For a complete household, start with home removals to the Netherlands. If your move crosses a European border, read about international removals to the Netherlands. Customers moving from Great Britain can use the dedicated UK to Netherlands removals guide. Smaller loads can still be quoted, but listing each item makes the request much easier to assess.

What happens after you send an enquiry?

The team reviews the route, inventory, dates and handling requirements. If important details are missing, they can be clarified before a transport plan is offered. The resulting quotation should show what is included and identify optional work such as packing, an extra handler, assembly or storage. You can then check the scope before deciding whether to book.
